This Old Tony, how difficult would it be to produce a tap and die set for worm threads, for use on wood?
That felt like a run on sentence somehow...

I would think a warped rotor is pretty apparent... wouldn't you feel it in the in your hands?

Man I can't believe how fast the channel is growing now! He just posted his 500k vid 10 months ago. I can't think of many channels that put in the effort he does unless they are full-time YouTuber's. I'd say he's definitely earned it. Thanks Tony.

I presume you considered adding material to the bike frame bracket?

I have a similar problem with my KTM front brakes being spongy when the pads get half worn out. I’ve gone to great efforts of bleeding them with no joy. But replacing the pads restores my braking strength.

Simple question, why didn't you just add some weld to the frame side and file it back? Just curious as there may be something obvious I'm missing.

"No other pegging, except foot, is allowed" - hey now c'mon, no kink-shaming here! We're all gentlemen, there's no reason to exclude someone just because he occasionally likes for his partner to take the reins, as it were... Do you what you like with a person what consents, gents! The world's too small and life's too short to feel bad about what makes you feel good.

You, sir, are a comedic genius. I love your machining, how you story tell though (and I mean every aspect) is priceless.

    Maybe helpful!
I onced had a similar experience with a Renault Clio Sports car, I had just changed the pads but the owner complained that the brakes were spongy. Turns out that the pads I was given were the wrong type, so as soon as I changed the pads the problem was solved.

Somewhere there is a crusty old machinist with an eye patch and 4 fingers watching your videos then talking shit about how you aren’t a real machinist since you still have all 10 digits.

you can test 7075 series of aluminum with calcium chloride solution, if it turns black or dark grey it's 7075. And for your extra bonus points if it's Magnesium use white vinegar and will also turn grey black bubbling. yes you can tig weld magnesium with the right filler and lots of argon.

"as you can see from the wear on the bolt hole, this'll probably get replaced sooner rather than later"

Why not just make and press a delrin or brass bushing in? We do it all the time for old SU carburetors with steel throttle shafts. Years more service is left in those things

I just have to say here that the production value of your videos is quite impressive. So what were you in your former life, machine operator of film producer? You are definitely quite adept at both.
