    I have MDD and I can guarantee that right before I fall asleep something interesting always happens in my world lol! Seriously it's one of the only convenient times to have MDD though lol!

    I've used the fantasy world since I was a child. I've made many fantasy places and even an entire planet. It is the only way I could sleep was to pretend I was somewhere else in as deep a detail as possible. As long as I'm not sick or in pain I do fall asleep with that.

    You know that feeling when you´re doing a sleepover and your trying to sleep but your buddy keeps on starting to talk and you´re just "mhm" and "ok" and "yeah" and then he gets quiet and you think you can finally sleep but then he starts talking again?     I’ve always done half of these. Right before I go to sleep I stretch and as I stretch I tense all my muscles. Then I lay on my side and use the momentum from moving my hips bag and forth to rock myself to sleep. I also will come up with a situation in my head I want to dream about and if I continue to think about it that’s what I’ll dream about

    Technique #6 is legit. I've done that for about a decade now. It takes me about 5 minutes to fall asleep now instead of an hour plus. It has also helped me get into a relaxed and happy state of mind that has helped me combat major depression and anxiety.
