My dad works at a factory and he hates his job plus he’s always stressed out and I just wish one day I can make him happy with him retiring. I’m saying this because today he’s sick and he yelled all I do is work, I have no life. It just made me want to breakdown to see someone so independent and confident (because he was in the navy) breakdown. I just hope for the best.

After unfortunate events, my mom got pregnant at 15 and the father was, obviously, never in the picture... both her parents are alcoholic and put her in foster care when she was young. By the age of 15 my mom had a baby and was considered an adult so she could work, get a place to live, etc. She starved herself to make sure my brother could eat more if he was hungry. She's turning 49 this year and she has never stopped working. For over 20 years she was a caregiver for elderly people and stopped when her body couldn't handle it anymore. She's always been selfless and put her kids first. She lost her house after my father cheated on her and left us all behind, yet she keeps working and does her best. One day, one of my biggest dreams is to be able to offer her a house and make sure she'll never have to work again. She deserves it after all she went through and all the sacrifices she did for us.
