Belichick is a football god. Something in the back of my head says "Ernie" Was in Seattle, walking his dog right outside the Seahawks practice field a week before the SB. 🤔

Did I just hear the Patriots DL Coach Brendan Daly say they listened to what their Offensive Coach said in that final play.

The only time I ever rooted for the Patriots. Seeing Seattle lose like that was sweet vengeance for us Packers fans

A clear and obvious pass interference penalty on the offense. Ironically still an issue today and both benefited the patriots...hmmmm

i realized, butler should've taken the knee in the end zone instead in the 1 yard line. the chances of fumbling then seahawks recovers would be scarier compared to kneeling down in the end zone 20 yard. but im not sure with rules. just a thought. haha either way still a great play recognition by Butler. you'll always have a special place in our hearts

Seahawks would have nearly got in 100% if they ran it on the goal line, they had 26 seconds, 1 timeout, and had 3 downs to gain one puny yard, and pound it in with Marshawn "Beast Mode" Lynch for a 31-28 lead!!! Instead, Pete Carroll being the clueless moron that he is when it matters most, opts to go for a Russell Wilson "trick play" pass on the goal line which winds up getting read 100% and intercepted. That sheer lack of decision making when everything is on the line, and the fact that Wilson had a near perfect comeback game winning drive due to a terrible decision by his coaches, make the play completely inexcusible by any way you look at it. The fact that Seattle were just one yard away from starting a potential dynasty of their own, and then handed the Super Bowl to the Patriots on a silver platter, makes this both the worst play call/super bowl loss by at least a full mile!!!

And even as they went goal line they should have thought to go a out side route instead of inside bad coaching
