The tricks to finding coins at those old homesteads, is to locate where the
old clothes line was and run your detector over the ground right there.
Work clothes were often hung up to dry while they still had coins in the
pockets. Anothrr good place to look is under the bedroom floor boards.
The floors were made of wood planks that didn't fit tightly together.
Coins often fell out of pants pockets and slipped between those floor cracks.
Just a suggestion from another treasure hunter. Cheers!
